New Dissidia Final Fantasy NT trailer focuses on Materia and Spiritus

Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The trailer this time focuses on the gods, Materia and Spiritus, who drive the game’s plot.

These two gods are responsible for summoning the Final Fantasy heroes and villains we see in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (much like Cosmos and Chaos were in previous Dissidia titles). Materia is the “Sublime Goddess of Protection,” born from the will of Cosmos from the previous games. Meanwhile, the will of Chaos was reborn as Spiritus the “Savage God of Destruction,” who is the god of magic in the reborn world.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT launches on PlayStation 4 on January 11 in Japan, and January 30 in Europe and North America.

Injustice 2 undergoing an hour of server maintenance today

Though we’ve become used to seeing long periods of downtime for the severs of Street Fighter V due to routine maintenance periods, it appears that NetherRealm Studio’s Injustice 2 will be getting in on the action to kick off December.

Gameplay programmer Brian Keschinger recently noted on Twitter that the Injustice 2 servers will be down for exactly one hour tomorrow — Friday, December 1st — from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM CT (8:30-9:30 AM PT, 11:30-12:30 PM ET).

“All online services, including Matchmaking, Guilds and AI Battles will be unavailable due to server maintenance,” according to his Twitter. So if you were looking to grab a few online matches or tackle a Guild Multiverse before lunch, you’ll have to table them until you get back — though thankfully only for a short time. You can see the tweet below.

In the meantime, you can check out the full patch notes for the recently-released December update while you wait for the servers to return. This will hopefully ensure a more stable online experience for all players going forward.

Injustice 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam PC.

– Raiders of the Broken Planet Wardog Fury Campaign Released

The second premium campaign has been released for Raiders of the Broken Planet. Called Wardog Fury, the new content is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One. It can be purchased as a standalone campaign for $9.99 or is part of the game’s premium edition. In addition, players can unlock 4-hour access to the DLC using gold, currency gained by completing missions.

City of Titans – Questing and Making Content Explored in Latest Blog

The City of Titan site has been updated with a new developer blog that explains how the questing system will work in the game. It is the developers’ goal to create backstory and meaningful content for players to experience. To do that, questing will be broken down into three distinct types: Tips, Paths and District Stories. Today’s blog focuses in on Tips, short, self-contained, one-off adventures.

WildStar – Lots of Fun Coming Throughout December

If you’re a WildStar player, you’ve got a lot to look forward to throughout the month of December. All the fun begins on December 8th and the Residential Renovation challenge and continues with Winterfest (December 18 – January 1). You can also gain wicked experience in the Double XP X-Plosion event running from December 29th to January 1st.

World of Warcraft – Datamined New PTR Build Reveals Spoilers & Tons of Information About Allied Races

When patch 7.3.5 landed on the World of Warcraft PTR, the datamining began. WoWhead and MMO-Champion have gone to town and pulled out some pretty cool information about the Allied Races including skin colors, racial mounts, conversation lines, hairstyles, body types, faces and more.
