FINAL ROUND returns to Atlanta on March 16-18, 2018; Registration now open!

FINAL ROUND is ready to shake up Atlanta once again — are you ready?

FINAL ROUND is heading back to the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia on March 16-18, 2018. Registration is currently open on smash.gg, and you can save a bit of cash if you register before December 31. Online registration closes on March 2nd — and there will be no registration at the door this year, so make sure you sign up online if you want to compete/attend!

This year’s tournament titles are:

FINAL ROUND is very often the first event of the year in the Capcom Pro Tour, and it will be streamed this year as part of the CPT on the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel. Events will also be streamed on FunkyP (for anime titles), Kombatnetwork, and Bifuteki.

Star Citizen – Backers Get an Early Christmas Present with a Chance to Test v3.0 Alpha

Roberts Space Industry has an early Christmas gift for all backers with the ability to test 3.0 Alpha now enabled. The good news came via the official forums (thanks, anonymous tipster!) with links to the installer, instructions on how to install the PTU and how to get a temporary password sent out. Backers will also find an FAQ, patch notes and the default control scheme. Lastly, you can take part in the PTU test chat on Spectrum.

Face destruction in this Dragon Ball FighterZ Beerus breakdown by Perfect Legend

Bandai Namco has released yet another special character breakdown for Dragon Ball FighterZ. This time, the focus is put on Universe 7’s God of Destruction himself: Beerus.

Beerus possesses the power to destroy anyone for even the slightest of faults (such as not feeding him his favorite foods), and this is manifested in his moveset that involves a lot of long-range moves that get to his opponent before they get to him. This includes being one of the few characters that can combo from a neutral ki blast on hit.

The most important set of moves Beerus has, however, are the orbs of destruction that he can summon and use in various ways. They can be called into play in multiple ways, though he still needs to be careful — as his opponents can Super Dash through them.

Dragon Ball FighterZ launches onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26.

Check out all the legends attending Cooperation Cup 16 with its official team list

With the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Cooperation Cup 16 just over two weeks away, we finally have the full team roster for this year’s event, and this one is set to be a doozy. Along with teams from all over Japan, there are a few international teams in the running this year — mainly from the US and the UK.

You’ve also got several 3rd Strike legends attending this event, with players like Genki, Kokujin, RX, Dirty ♪, Ruu and YSB all in attendance, alongside the likes of Haitani, Daigo, MOV, Onuki and even Kuroda. 9road is looking like the group to beat at the moment, as it’s got Vanao, Daigo, MOV, Haitani and Kuroda all on a single team.

The team list also comes with a complete character breakdown, ordering characters from most to least popular. Ken is the most commonly-picked fighter with 77 people registered to play as the blonde-haired shoto. Next up is Chun-Li with 62, and then Urien’s in third with 48. As for the bottom of the list, Sean is dead last with only two people down to play as the Brazilian martial artist.

As well as Cooperation Cup, this list also has all the teams for Pre-Cooperation Cup as well — perfect for anyone trying to learn a specific character ahead of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection! Cooperation Cup 16 will be streamed live from Japan on Sunday 7th January, with GameNewton providing both English and Japanese commentary.
