Learn the ways of Tekken 7’s Leo Kilesen in cutcc’s QuickNotes series

cutcc is back with more of his “QuickNotes” series for Tekken 7! This series is designed to lay out the fundamentals of a Tekken character in as compact a video as possible, and today’s character is the powerful Baji Quan practitioner, Leo.

The hard-hitting Leo seems simple on the surface, running a mini-Paul Death Fist/sweep mix-up accompanied by good punishment options and launchers. But beyond the surface level is a world of hyper-evasive stances, frame traps, and exceptionally difficult instant while-rising execution. Leo is a character that truly grows with you, at any point in your Tekken journey.

Catch Dead or Alive 5 Last Round’s Tecmo 50th anniversary costumes in this new trailer

Recently, we learned that the final DLC costume pack for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round would feature costumes celebrating various Tecmo franchise as part of the latter’s 50th anniversary. However, we only got to see a few of said Tecmo costumes. Now, we get to see a whole lot more of them, as Team NINJA has dropped the trailer for this costume pack.

As previously revealed, we see a fair amount of Ninja Gaiden and Monster Rancher (Monster Farm in Japan) representation. However we also see costumes from franchises such as the classic Temco Bowl, sumo game Tsuppari Oozumou, Star Force, Deception, and more. This is in addition to generic Tecmo themed costumes as well.

Give the trailer below a spin, and see if you can identify all the Tecmo franchises being represented!

Dead or Alive fans will want to keep an eye on NEC 18, as Team NINJA has teased an upcoming announcement at the event.
