Hyper Universe – Launch Day Arrives with a Cool Half Dozen New Hypers

If you’ve been waiting for Hyper Universe to launch, you’re in luck. Today marks the official release of Nexon’s latest game and comes complete with launch day rewards for everyone who joins in on the fun. The official patch notes for today’s launch includes a half dozen new Hypers as well as new language support options and the mission system. The latter includes daily, weekly and monthly missions for a variety of rewards.

World of Warcraft – Undocumented Changes in 7.3.5 See Vastly Increased Health Pools in Old Raids

For those of you who have enjoyed running old raids for World of Warcraft transmog items, your time investment will be increasing greatly as all health pools have increased by about 300% in patch 7.3.5. While raids from Vanilla through Cataclysm are still easily soloed, Pandaria and Warlords raid content on some difficulty levels is not. The increased health pools have made fight mechanics kick in that most times render soloing impossible.

Chronicles of Elyria – Layoffs Confirmed, Sustainable Development Now Stable

The Chronicles of Elyria team is a bit smaller today after a now-confirmed round of layoffs hit Soulbound Studios. The layoffs were confirmed via Jeromy “Caspian” Walsh on the official site. According to his post, the “team size was never intended to be sustainable without the long-term aid of a publisher or investor”. After employees were let go, however, it appears that development costs are stable going forward without a publisher or investor.
