SNK brought SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy to the Evo Japan show floor, with a small booth where players could take pictures with cosplayers dressed up as the game’s characters, among whom was a big hint at the game’s next playable character. Now, for those who weren’t there, SNK has finally dropped a trailer revealing said character: Nakoruru. The Evo Japan trailer for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy gives us our first glimpse of Nakoruru as she appears in the game (literally, as her cosplayer was wearing her more-traditional outfit at Evo). In addition to this, we get more gameplay snippets of the other girls. This is on top of revealing the set up for the game’s story, where the girls have been kidnapped after the last tournament and find themselves in a mysterious mansion — basically the same setup as the April Fool’s webcomic spinoff Nariyuki Quest. Whether or not this means that Kukri, *ahem* Sandel Dark, is the final boss of the game has yet to be revealed. Check out the trailer — in both English and Japanese — as well as Nakoruru’s official art below. SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is set to hit PlayStation 4 and Switch sometime this summer.
