Capcom has scored some serious cash with Monster Hunter World. The game has shipped more than five million units since it launched last week. This includes digital downloads of the game in the three days following its launch. This makes MHW the best-selling game in the series that has launched on PS4 for the first time in a decade and the first-time ever launch on any XBox.

The Tree of Life team has sent word that it is introducing a new currency called Boboo that is similar in style to the real-world Bitcoin. Players are sent out to a specific location to mine for a limited number of coins. These can be bought and sold on a marketplace, though with limited quantities, players need to be strategic about trades. Interestingly, the player who finds the most Boboo coins will receive a real life version made of solid gold.

World of Warcraft – Purported Alpha Footage Shows Battle for Azeroth Locations of Undercity & Zuldazar

Purported alpha footage has leaked online that shows off a pair of locations coming to World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The videos were put up late on January 28th by YouTube user “LeystTV” without any information about how he obtained the footage. Regardless, both look amazing. One shows the destruction in and around the Undercity, the other the island location of Zuldazar, part of Zandalar.
