The Dragon Ball FighterZ open got an extension last week when Bandai Namco announced a extra day for players to try it. While most players were busy trying to get some matches, noted combo genius Final Showdown took his time to figure out more combos for the game.

As with his previous videos, these focus on Goku and teen Gohan, the two character players got to play a lot of in the beta’s limited tutorial mode.

First up are a couple of videos of combos for Goku. Here he showcases how Goku can chain two Kamehamehas one after the other. Interestingly enough however, Final Showdown notes that he’s hit the tech buffer limit with Goku for solo combos without double jumps, Sparking blast, or supers.

A character that shows more potential combo-wise is teen Gohan. In the video below, Final Showdown demonstrates some bomb loops for him, as well as a few other combos. He also states that he’ll likely do a more complete combo video for the character in the future.

Dragon Ball FighterZ launches in the West this Friday, January 26, with Japan following a week after on February 1.

Did you pick up the new Touhou fighting game Antinomy of Common Flowers on Steam and have no idea where to begin learning it? Being a game that’s (currently, at least) almost entirely in Japanese can make learning it seem like a difficult task, particularly when the game itself has some innovative and unique twists on common 2D fighting game conventions.

Luckily, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know Touhou! Japanese player “Yofuki” has made the excellent beginners video above, with English subtitles to help you learn the game from the ground up. On top of that, there’s a AoCF wiki and a dedicated discord for AoCF and its predecessor, Urban Legend in Limbo.
