Brian F breaks down the changes to Balrog in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

It isn’t a surprise to most people that Balrog was nerfed in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. When a nerf seems like an inevitable thing, though, dedicated players have to be worried that the character could end up getting killed altogether in tournament play. Just ask Season 1 Ryu players, for example.

Well, there’s few players as dedicated to pushing Balrog as SFV Pro Brian_F. He’s documented the Season 3 changes here in his latest video, while also giving them some context for Balrog’s future. Boxer players will certainly have to adjust to their new world, but as Brian F shows, not all of the news is doom and gloom.

Watch the Netherlands’ “Red Bull Strijders – Fight Club” multi-game major, streaming tonight and tomorrow!

Red Bull Esports has partnered with the Esports Game Arena in the Netherlands for a night of FGC action featuring Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Red Bull Strijders – Fight Club (“strijders” meaning “fighters”), will be running all day tomorrow, February 10, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM CET — that’s 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM PT for us in North America. That’s a bit early for us to tune in, but it is a chance to see the high-level competition in Europe! Winners of each event will win a trip to Red Bull’s E-WKND event in Sweden in November.
