NurseLee breaks down the potential setups with Alex’s V-Trigger II in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Alex’s second V-Trigger in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is considered strong, with a load of potential for mix-ups. However, its two different possible uses can cause some confusion in using it to your advantage. If you attempt the same setup with both, you may find yourself disappointed when you whiff and get punished.

In this video, NurseLee breaks down the difference between both moves, and points out that while the DDT is untechable, it can only hit high — whereas the sleeper is techable. He also shows some great meaty setups off of each, that will help you put your opponents on the ground.

SRK READER POLL RESULTS: The (currently) most-used fighters of Dragon Ball FighterZ!

The results are in: who’s on your Dragon Ball FighterZ team?

Just over a week since launch, our first DBFZ reader poll shows which “FighterZ” have most quickly earned regular placement on your teams. It seems Emperors, Princes, and nihilistic gods hold a lot of sway: as Goku Black, Vegeta (Super Saiyan), and Frieza are the most-picked based on your responses!

If you aren’t running these deadly fighters on your own team, you may do well to prepare yourself for the match-up! You can see the full results below; interestingly, the SSGSS versions of Goku and Vegeta aren’t drawing as much interest yet, but being locked behind Story mode has not prevented Android 21 from seeing more use than much of the roster. It will be interesting to see how this list evolves as the game’s meta deepens. Thanks to everyone who responded!

Catch up on the matches from the Capcom vs. SNK 2 side tournament at Evo Japan

One of the many side tournaments at Evo Japan was one for the classic crossover fighter Capcom vs. SNK 2! Hosted by none other than legendary player Ryo “d44BAS” Yoshida, the tournament represented the first time Japan’s still-thriving CvS2 community was able to compete at Evo.

For those who weren’t able to catch the stream, BAS has now uploaded the archive footage onto his YouTube channel.

The footage below represents just about all of the matches that were shown on stream. For those looking to watch it, take note that the footage isn’t exactly divided up per match. Rather all the pools matches are in one video, followed by the top 36 in another. As such, be sure to set aside some time (about an hour and a half per video) when watching these matches!
