Dragon Ball FighterZ character roundup: What we’ve seen so far for Captain Ginyu

Our own Tournament of Power still has a lot of time left! Keep practicing!

We’ve seen a lot of tech videos for Dragon Ball FighterZ come through our tipline, covering everything from team-building strategy, fundamental game mechanics, and combo after combo after combo, from throughout the game’s cast! Since the roundups were put together based on what came in when, not sorted by character, we’re re-compiling them by fighter to make it easier to find something for your individual team members.

This time, let’s look at what we’ve seen so far for Captain Ginyu!

Few have pushed the combos and setups of pre-launch DBFZ the way Clayton “Final Showdown” Chapman has. If you really want to see the full extent of combo possibilities at the moment, these are a great place to start:

These Ginyu mid-screen setups are particularly impressive for the way they still set up Ginyu’s Force without assists.

TGN Anime shows off the moveset of Captain Ginyu (and the Ginyu Force!).

rooflemonger explains the properties of Captain Ginyu’s Ginyu Force.

Ninja demonstrates a powerful glitch involving the meter consumption of Ginyu’s Milky Cannon DHC.

Brian Kasugano has a new and extensive combo video featuring stuff for SSJ Vegeta, Krillin, Frieza, Ginyu, SSGSS Goku, and Piccolo.

Get your squad ready, because everyone on the team is involved in ArcBueno‘s Ginyu combo video.

As always, thanks to all content creators out there, and everyone that sent in tip! Keep an eye on Shoryuken for future DBFZ roundups!

“Dante Must Die” in this Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite community combo video

Those following Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite at Winter Brawl may have gotten a glimpse of a combo video called “Dante Must Die,” shown just before top 8. The video is a project led by former Shoryuken staffer Joseph “Wolverine Master” Quashie, and is a spiritual follow-up to a series of combo videos for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 called “Wesker Must Die.”

Now, for those who either missed the video (or simply want to see it again) Wolverine Master has uploaded it onto his YouTube channel.

The video below features the work of Josh360, Hi I’m Nasty, Ketsui, YoungBlood, BabaGhanoush, Dr. Snaketits, Mosh, Shadowed Fate, and of course, Wolverine Master himself. As the title states, it focuses on combos that can kill Dante (or any character with 9,000 life) by taking advantage of the increased damage and other properties of the Power Stone’s Infinity Storm.

In addition to this, they also tease a future follow up video, this time focusing on the Time Stone.
