A hitbox viewer for Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PC

If you’re deep in the weeds of Dragon Ball FighterZ, you’ll no doubt be going through the laborious process of learning each character’s frame data. Since DBFZ has no in-game frame data chart, players are doing the next best thing and creating their own. There is also no way of checking move hitboxes either, forcing players to guess at the ranges of certain normals and specials.

Luckily, creator of the Guilty Gear Xrd hitbox viewer Altimor has put together a similar tool for the PC version of Dragon Ball FighterZ, allowing players to study the hit and hurtboxes of each character. This beta viewer is completely functional, containing hitbox data for all moves, including projectiles and unique attacks like Nappa’s Saibamen. There is still work to be done on the tool, so expect updates within the next few weeks.

Option-Selects, or OSes, are simply manipulating the way a fighting game reads an input so that you get different (desired) results in different situations. OSes exist in some small form in every fighting game, and Pokkén Tournament DX is no different.

What sets Pokkén’s OS’s apart from most other games is that the hitstop dramatically differs not between Hit and Guard, but Hit and Counter Armor. Since Counter Attacks are one of the primary defensive options in the game, this is an important distinction. Team Liquid says farewell to NuckleDu in this touching video

It’s official — NuckleDu has parted ways with Team Liquid. While he had hinted as possibly doing so in January when his contract expired, he has now confirmed that he will likely be signing a new contract with another team soon.

Given the history he had with the organization as their first fighting game player — as well as the success he experienced with the team — Team Liquid posted a farewell video to honor him and their special relationship with Du. While we currently wait for his announcement of his new team, we look back with fond memories of his time in a Team Liquid jersey.
