The biggest takeaway is the explosive growth in revenue in 2018 alone which is expected to bring in nearly a billion dollars. eSports is expected to grow to over 400M viewers, up 13% from last year.

The EVE Online site has another extensive blog post detailing some big changes coming to the game in the March update. Most notably, players will see a small, but meaningful, change to the jump fatigue mechanic. The mechanic, according to the blog, has been one of the “least satisfying” ones since its introduction in 2014. As a result of volumes of player feedback and developer discussion, a big change is coming to reduce fatigue accumulation.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ Japanese website now has new images for Bardock and Broly, the first DLC characters for the title. The two characters will be the first released in the Dragon Ball FighterZ “FighterZ Pass” which includes eight characters in total, along with unique stamps, lobby avatars, and alternative colors.
Not much is known about the characters’ movesets or abilities, but their ultimate attacks have been confirmed. Bardock transforms into a Super Saiyan and unleashes a flurry of physical attacks with his “Revenger Assault” and Broly’s signature move, “Gigantic Meteor,” creates a devastating energy blast worthy of its name.
According to ShonenGamez, next month’s issue of V-Jump will give us a release date for the two iconic fighters. Until then, take a closer look at the characters in the image galleries below!
