Skullgirls combo videos are amazing to watch — its infinite protection system loans itself to creative combos in order to bypass it. And with this video, we get to see the skullgirls — or in this case, skullboy — go at it.

This video mainly focuses on Beowulf and his combo capabilities, and places a heavy emphasis on his synergy with Peacock, whose delayed hyper combos and assists allow him to further extend his combos by putting up walls to prevent pushback. We also see a few nifty tricks from Ms. Fortune in between the two of them, showing a solid team between the trio.

Menat is an execution-based player’s dream. Her abilities allow her to create some creative and exquisite combos; the problem with this is that damage scaling causes these combos to deal some relatively weak damage. This makes resets pivotal to make her work effectively.

In this video, we see a ton of reset options for Menat, off of both V-Trigger options. While she has less options off of V-Trigger II, it’s useful to know how to use the new V-Trigger to its full potential!

Because ARIKA’s 1998 3D fighter Fighting Layer never found its way outside of arcades, it’s easy to feel like it has been lost to the sands of time. Even ARIKA’s latest spiritual successor bearing its name, Fighting EX Layer, completely lacks any original characters from the series. (Blaire and Allen, who are in Fighting Layer, are originally from Street Fighter EX). And that’s really a shame, because there’s some great original designs in Fighting Layer, and some fun mechanics unique to it — such as its universal side-switch grabs and meter-consuming combo escape “Super Illusion.”

In a recent video (released for Valentine’s Day) team Echo Fox focuses on the relationship between these two. The video below strives to give new insight into how their relationship started, and how it continues to thrive now that they’re married — thanks in part, of course, to their shared love of fighting games.

Necalli was always considered a strong character, but the changes he received in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition have made him even stronger. Within V-Trigger I, he has access to the new move Clouded Mirror, which moves fast, mixes up, and scores him a knockdown on hit.
