Ubisoft has finally revealed the release date for The Crew 2. Fans can look for it to race out the gate on June 29, 2018. The game allows players to explore America and “dominate your rivals in a near limitless world build for motorsports”.
If you’ve been waiting for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, you’ll be happy to hear that Neocore has finally announced its release date. Fans can look for it on PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One on May 11th. To celebrate the news, Neocore also released a new trailer to showcase the Boss System that the game utilizes.
Ever imagine what how it would feel like to see Ryu and Ken duking it out on your own street? Or maybe see E. Honda and Dhalsim trading blows by your local corner store. Well, imagine no more, thanks to this tech demo that ports Street Fighter to the “real world” via augmented reality.
Called Street Fighter II: Real World Warrior, the homemade tech demo was made by noted AR developer Abhishek Singh, who famously made that first-person Mario demo for Microsoft’s HoloLens.
Now, the gameplay itself is nothing that any fighting game veteran would call “competitive”. The animations are quite slow, and are tied to a weird 3-button control scheme. However, it’s the possibilities that this opens up that are exciting: imagine what an actual officially licensed and developed AR implementation of any fighting game franchise could look like!

For any fans of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, here’s a reason for you to check out Wednesday Night Fights. Square Enix is partnering with the Level|Up Series crew to host a the Dissidia Master Series: a monthly competition that will take place at WNF.
The Dissidia Master Series is a monthly tournament series that will take place at Wednesday Night Fights, and will run all the way through June 13. Each tournament is a double elimination event between 8 teams of competitors, and will feature unique prizes from Square Enix. Meanwhile, the champions of the series will have their team names engraved in a one-of-a-kind trophy, that will be the centerpiece at WNF.
The first tournament of this series has already taken place on Wednesday, March 14. The prize from yesterday’s event was a Squall Leonhart figure from Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line.

Portalarium and Travian have released a pair of videos to introduce new players to the world of Shroud of the Avatar as well as showcase the “cooperative RPG” portion of the game. The city of Arlington — which is just outside Dallas — will be working with NGage Esports to open a new esports-dedicated stadium for the city. Given its location near Dallas and Panda’s ties to several major FGC events around the country, this is huge news for any FGC TO in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
