Prepare for parrying perfection with this Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition compilation

A lot of people who got into the fighting game community did so by way of seeing Evo Moment 37: where Daigo Umehara fully parried Justin Wong’s Super Art from Chun-Li to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. While parrying in Street Fighter V has become easier to do, players and audiences alike still get hype over well-timed parries into big damage.

Can Alex win? BornFree talks to Gunfight about Street Fighter V at Final Round 2018

The Alex mainstay talks about his SFV character crisis, and more!

At Final Round 2018, BornFree had the chance to talk at length with Atlas Bear’s Gunfight, possibly the best Alex player in Street Fighter V worldwide. They discuss Gunfight’s thoughts on the balance of many of SFV’s mechanics, and the possibility that success in SFV outright requires a secondary character — something he himself is currently considering, in the form of Urien or Rashid.

Of course, they discuss much more — including Gunfight’s prowess with 3rd Strike’s Dudley, and how Abigail maybe isn’t necessarily as strong as currently thought. Check it out below!

Ultimately, it looks like Gunfight isn’t quite ready to leave the #AlexNation just yet:

ArcheAge – Shadow Invasions Can Yield Rare Craftable Materials

When ArcheAge “Legends Return” debuts next week, it will come with a new Shadow Invasion. These invasions will begin after any of the eight world bosses are defeated. Immediately after the world boss falls, new enemies will crop up that will require a minimum of ten players at 6K Equipment Score. Each Shadow Invasion has an underboss that is specific to that type of invasion and, once defeated, will drop a rare crafting material that can be made into a “valuable new trade pack”.

DC Universe Online – Players Can Now Participate in a DELUGE of New Content

DC Universe Online has been updated to bring the Deluge content on board. Players can look forward two brand new Elite raids for high end players, but there’s a lot to enjoy for anyone over level 10. Players will find a definitely damp theme in Deluge with some “all new iconic Aquaman characters” including Mera, Black Manta and Corum Rath. Aquaman and Ocean Master have also been updated for a swank new look.

– Dead Man’s Country Takes You to the 1800s American Old West

A new game popped up on the radar after it was announced yesterday. Called Dead Man’s Country, the game is said to be “an open-world multiplayer action RPG set in the late 19th century of the American Old West”. Some of the game’s features include deep character customization, housing, crafting, zombies, farming, gathering, cooking, a siege system, hunting and taming and much more. “Face the untamed harshness of the wild in a landscape of vast forests, soaring mountains & desolate plains”.
