Worlds Adrift developers “John Age 24 and Ryan” are back with the third video developer diary for the game. In this edition, the pair talk about the recently added 300+ new islands that didn’t “melt the servers and didn’t incinerate the entire studio in a big ball of fire”. Now that’s just exciting!
BornFree caught up with 3rd-place DBFZ finisher Dogura at Final Round 2018 to chat about anything and everything Dragon Ball FighterZ. Dogura talks about how seeing GO1’s Vegeta in action made him decide he needed the Prince of Saiyans on his own team, as well as how he likes to watch Nakkiel for Kid Buu tips. But Dogura is most excited for the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly (now available as DLC!), as he’s already a fan of the character — so much so that he’d take great pride in being the best Broly in the world.
They talk about this, and much more — such as Dogura’s thoughts on other DBFZ characters’ strengths, and the potential for Dragon Ball FighterZ to match Street Fighter V in FGC popularity — in the interview below!

Behaviour Digital is the team that brought the world the wildly popular Dead by Daylight game. Devs are promising a new game reveal at next week’s PAX East. Called “Deathgarden”, the game is considered a 5v1 “asymmetrical shooter where powerful hunters prey on agile runners in a spectacular dystopian bloodsport”.

After a recent departure from Pandal Global, Victor “Punk” Woodley has signed on to continue competing in Street Fighter V under the Echo Fox banner. His impressive skills with Karin (though he also uses Chun-Li) have earned the young player a devoted fanbase — and those skills now bolster Echo Fox’s already-potent powerhouse of a team, which also includes Momochi, ChocoBlanka, Justin Wong, and Punk’s own Evo 2017 demon Tokido!

Alright, Dragon Ball FighterZ fans. The first DLC characters for one of the biggest games of this decade is here — and considering the legacy of these characters, we should expect to see some ridiculous tech develop for both of them over time. Let’s see what the community has cooked up for Broly and Bardock thus far:
SitverGold starts us off with an excellent demonstration of Broly’s ability to combo multiple level 3s easily.
In general, you can easily dump your meter with Broly to blow up lifebars, as demonstrated by COMBONAUTS.
SatanicGoomba shares some mid-screen and corner combos for the Saiyan of legend.
But hopefully you don’t auto-assume that Broly is the only worthwhile DLC in this group — Persona Entertainment shows off this Sparking-consuming touch-of-death combo for Bardock:
But if you’re the sort that likes to jump in and learn via gameplay, there probably isn’t a better early source of inspiration than GO1, who is already tearing people up with Broly and Bardock online.
