Neptunusequester helps you understand the strengths and weaknesses of Jin’s unique parry in Tekken 7
There’s a certain set of unwritten rules about parries in Tekken 7. Typically, parries will lose to knees and elbows, most can be reversed, and some have such heavy recovery that whiffing one causes you to get launched for free. Most of this logic, however, goes right out the window once you start talking about Jin’s parry.
Jin’s parry recovers almost instantaneously, and works versus nearly every single attack in the game. This allows Jin to punish things virtually no other character has a true answer for, such as Hwoarang’s safe, mid Rage Art. It might sound like Jin’s parry is broken, but as neptunusequester‘s video details, there’s a little more going on then just being a normal parry on steroids. Check out the video above to see the strengths — and weaknesses — Jin’s parry possesses.

Stupendous flexes with BornFree at NorCal Regionals in this interview
Stupendous is now known as the last of the Red Cyclones. With Zangief’s substantial nerfs in Season 3 (and 3.5), people found it hard to stick with the character, with many opting to swerve to Abigail for their big-body needs. Stupendous, however, stayed the course.
In this interview with BornFree at NorCal Regionals, Stupendous talks about his career in fighting games — which only started as a result as friends making a pact with him to train four days a week, improving his results. He also talks about his frustrations with Zangief’s issues since the patch, and how Abigail has stolen away the talent from the character.
