World of Warcraft – PAX East 2018 – Hands On with Island Expeditions from Battle for Azeroth

This year at PAX East Blizzard brought a demo of their newest content from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, Island Expeditions. These are small group content (3v3) and is meant to be playing in 15 – 30 minute bursts. There will be normal, heroic, mythic, and PvP modes available at launch but the demo was of the normal mode versus AI.

Fortnite – Teacher Challenges Students to Get 6,700 Retweets for Fortnite Final Exam

When it comes to challenging the educational system, no one is more creative than students looking for a fun final exam. Students at Tippecanoe High School in Ohio did just that asking for an exam on Fortnite rather than the class’s subject, chemistry. Teacher Mike McCray wagered with his students that if they could get 6,700 retweets of an original post to change the exam’s subject, he would do just that. Well, guess what? Twitter came through.

EVE Online – S.P.A.C.E. Event Kicks Off Today and Runs Through April 17th

EVE Online devs are inviting both new and veteran capsuleers to head into game to take part in the S.P.A.C.E. (Spaceship Pilot and Capsuleer Essentials) event that kicks off today and runs through April 17th. During the event, players can head to The Agency tab in their interface, choose from a number of activities including bounty hunting, mining and more. Once the objectives are complete, players will earn Agency points that eventually unlock rewards.

Black Desert Online – Fairy System to Go Live After Maintenance

Kakao Games has announced that the fairy system will be coming into Black Desert Online after this week’s maintenance. Players will be able to head out into the world to look for Laila fairies by completing a recurring quest. “Each can learn different skills that benefit their characters and makes life in BDO more pleasurable”.
