Catch these Hyper Street Fighter II combos that only work on original characters
Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition had some bizarre interactions. This game was essentially a mashup of every playable version of the characters along the Street Fighter II franchise. With that came some unique interactions between the original characters from World Warrior to Hyper Fighting — which were coded on CPS1 — and the Super Street Fighter II versions — which were coded in CPS2.
Because of differences in hitboxes, there are certain combos that will only work on the CPS1 versions of the characters when playing as a CPS2 version. This is a glimpse off the many things Ryu can do against the older characters — and it’s stylish, and scary.
