PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Miramar Map is Now Available for XBox One Testing

If you’re a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds XBox One player, you may want to check into the Test Server to try out the new Miramar map. The map will be fully available for testing as well as new vehicles and weapons. The team will be taking feedback from its community during the testing period. The map should make it into the XBox Game Preview version sometime towards the end of May.

Final Fantasy XIV – It’s Time to Start Peeking at Patch 4.3 Coming at the End of May

Final Fantasy XIV devs are always so forthcoming with contents of future patches teased on the game’s official site. With patch 4.3 due out at the end of May, players are clamoring to know more about what’s inside. So far, devs have been willing to show off a peek at the main scenario, the Alliance Raid Dungeon (Return of Ivalice), The Swallow’s Compass dungeon and additional updates including cross-world Linkshells, Glamour Dresser updates and Guestbooks for housing.

PSA: Change your Disqus account passwords, due to a new series of spam attacks

Shoryuken — like a number of news/entertainment outlets on the internet — uses the Disqus comment. The platform’s ability to let readers join in on discussions through a single login has made it pretty ubiquitous. It also makes it a pretty big target for spam.

Recently, Disqus made an announcement regarding a new series of spam attacks on their system. The attacks seem to involve spammers being able to edit user comments and place spam links in them.

While Disqus has already implemented measures to curtail the spam (including temporarily preventing the editing of old posts) we highly recommend that people change the passwords on their accounts just in case. This can be done by going to disqus.com and going to the “Account” section under “Settings”.
