Black Desert Online – Kakao Committed to Improving PvP Through ‘Adjusting Crowd Control Effects’

The Black Desert Online development team is back with a detailed developer blog to reveal some adjustments coming to the game, specifically with regard to PvP. In order to bring “a more fair and fun PvP environment”, some significant changes are planned for crowd control effects. As part of the larger list of adjustments, players will only be able to apply a debuff on the first hit and, even with that, there appears to be an RNG chance for damage, debuff, both or none to be applied.

Blade & Soul – Eternal Night to Debut on May 9th with Balance & Mechanics Changes

The Blade & Soul site has been updated with a new developer blog post that lays out the basic details about forthcoming mechanics and balance changes coming with the Eternal Night update on May 9th. Players can look forward to improvements in dungeon rewards, rebalanced upgrade costs, simplified combat controls and item changes. The full preliminary patch notes have been published on the site to see which items specifically will be receiving attention.

Get another look at Taki in SoulCalibur VI with some new art and screenshots

As we all know by now, series veteran Taki is returning to SoulCalibur VI. Now, for those looking to see more of the the series’ resident ninja, Bandai Namco have released new screenshots, as well as the official art for Taki in SoulCalibur VI.

The screenshots in the gallery below give us a closer look at the subtle changes to Taki’s look (including a new open-mouthed face mask). They also show more of the new glowing symbols she exhibits in a number of moves — something that’s most likely tied to the new systems that are being added into the game.
