Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition — Basic Falke primer: General gameplan, combos, & more
Who is Falke?
Falke is the third DLC character for Season 3 of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. She was created to be an alternative clone body for M. Bison. She has the unique ability to infuse Psycho Power into objects and release it through them — mainly through her staff, which she has named “Harmony”.
General Gameplan
With long-reaching normals, a unique fireball game, and strong and reliable anti-airs, Falke is primarily a zoning character that hopes to keep her opponents in the mid-range, where she is at her strongest.
Pros
+ Requires no motions for her special moves (outside of her Critical Art)
+ Strong and reliable anti-airs (cr.HP, Psycho Schneide, air throw, etc.)
+ Reliable way of building V-meter outside of getting hit, because she can combo into V-Skill in many ways (Each V-Skill builds 1/3 of a bar of VT)
+ Multiple ways to change air trajectory (During jumps, she can D+MK, shoot an air fireball, or do a regular jump-in)
+ Has reliable counters to fireball characters (Her V-Skill nullifies one-hit projectiles and Psycho Kanonen goes under other fireballs)
Cons
– 950 HP/950 Stun
– No 3F Normal
– Her invincible reversal (EX Psycho Schneide) has 12F Startup (Slow and baitable)
– Slow movement options (Walk speed, Forward/Back dash)
– Her hit confirms require her to be fairly close to the opponent
