Dragon Smash takes a closer look at the new game mechanics in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

A new Super Smash Bros. game with the entire series’ known roster is a reason for any Smash fan to rejoice, but rather than the size of the character selection, competitive Smashers are likely to be more concerned with the new mechanics that will effect the way the beloved platform brawler will now be played at the higher levels.

YouTube channel Dragon Smash has done a pretty sweet job at breaking down the new mechanics from various bits of what footage we have of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so far. Though the changes don’t seem to be anything too drastic, there is just enough nuance in the changes shown to make one interested — and excited — for the new strategies that will surely come with this new game.

World of Warcraft – PvP Ratings & Rewards Are Getting a Massive Overhaul in Battle for Azeroth

PvP ratings are getting a big update in World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The goal is, according to a new developer blog, to “increase clarity and offer a more structured progression that recognizes players’ accomplishments in real time as they climb through the ranks. As players reach (specific) rating thresholds, they will enter formal brackets”. But there’s so much more.

Warlords Awakening – As Players Suspected, Warlords Awakening is Elite Lords of Alliance Back For Try #3

It appears that Elite Lords of Alliance is back under a new name with a new publisher, PlayWith. According to the Warlords Awakening FAQ on the game’s Steam page, Playwith admits that it understands how skeptical players must be after the earlier two attempts…and subsequent shutdowns. The answer is, as you would expect, to throw shade cast at the previous publisher with aspersions at their handling of the game and that, this time, things will be different.
