HORI reveals themed GameCube Controllers for the Nintendo Switch

With the stranglehold Nintendo has on the platform-fighter market — not-to-mention another Super Smash Bros. title on the way —  Smash players’ desire for GameCube-style controllers is near-insatiable. HORI knows this.

These semi-translucent designs from HORI are themed after Mario, Pikachu, and The Legend of Zelda. As of now, they are set for Japanese release in October — and one would expect the American market would soon follow, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate due in December.

The “FiveMoves” handle is back in frame, and you know what that means — it’s time for another episode of “Think, Don’t Mash!” (This is assuming, of course, you saw episode one.)
