The latest update to Heroes of the Storm has been deployed. Most notably, it brings the game’s newest healing hero, Sally Whitemane, along with big changes to both Chromie and Stukov and some nerfs to Jaina. In addition to a number of skins for Whitemane, new emojis / portraits and sprays have been added along with a pair of new mounts.

“Think, Don’t Mash!” is Press Button Win‘s excellent beginner series for building up fundamentals in ground-heavy 2D fighting games. With Evo 2018 having just finished and more than a few new hands jumping back into the game (more than likely, with tigers at their side), now is the perfect time to take the past lessons and solidify them into a game-plan. (This is episode 3 of the series: here’s episode one!)

Webzen has announced that MU Legend is now in “official release” and is also available on Steam. Launch day arrives with a big content updated called Noria that comes with an entirely new continent to explore, new quests and dungeons, “exceptional rewards”, improved leveling, the revamped pet system, Airship Defense, the talisman system and much more.
Trove has been updated today to bring a number of quality of life improvement to the surprisingly fun Bomber Royale game-within-a-game. Players will find the new Blast Cam that allows them to keep tabs on the action even if they’ve met their own fiery doom. In addition, several QoL tweaks have been made to responsiveness, the Leaderboard, and XP tweaks.
Blizzard has sent word that Hearthstone has been updated with the Boomsday Project expansion. Players will find 135 “explosive” new cards and “electrifying” new gameplay mechanics to master. Players are invited to try out Boomsday Project by logging in to receive three free packs of expansion cards and one Legendary class minion or Hero card.

At Evo 2018, SNK and NIS America revealed the final cast member for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. However, it seems that there may still be more surprises in store for the upcoming fighter.
SNK and NIS America will be at PAX West where they’ll be hosting a panel called “NISA & SNK Retro to Now”. What is interesting is that in the PAX website, the description for the panel seems to be teasing an announcement that may be related to SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy stating “with SNK HEROINES Tag Team Frenzy about to release — we have a new announcement?!”
Now, as you can see, the wording itself is rather ambiguous. While it does mention SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, it could simply relate to the game’s release and their next project after it. Whatever it is, we’ll find out when PAX West rolls around this September.
PAX West will take place from August 31 to September 3, 2018 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. The panel itself is scheduled for Saturday, September 1 at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wyvern Hall.
