Update: Cryptic Offers Insight Into Recent Neverwinter Ban Wave Over In-Game Exploit

We have updated our original article with a statement from Cryptic Studios about the exploit ban wave. Cryptic Studios acknowledged on September 12th that there was an exploit in the Neverwinter Barovia Hunts “that bypasses the intended gameplay” and that the company was working to patch the issue as soon as possible. The post further indicated that “any character found using the exploit will be subject to possible actions taken against player accounts as per Terms of Service”.

Echo Fox recaps the Street Fighter V and Dragon Ball FighterZ action from Tokyo Game Show and CEOtaku

Major tournaments are hot-spots of exciting fights, and CEOtaku 2018 was no exception. Between the tense divisions of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], the high-speed clashes of Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle, and even the wildly skillful Catherine bracket, there never seemed to be a dull moment at the Wyndham Resort — or the Tokyo Game Show.

On top of game announcements and details, TGS functioned as a Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition tournament, doubling down on the excitement from Orlando. With so much going on in just a few short days, it can be easy to forget the greatest hits — luckily, Echo Fox has compiled their team’s best moments from TGS, as well as their Dragon Ball FighterZ involvement at CEOtaku.

Speedkicks is easily one of the Tekken scene’s most recognizable top talents. World of Warcraft Generates $161M in August, Surpasses League of Legends

The latest SuperData Research report for August 2018 has been published that shows that World of Warcraft has surpassed League of Legends in revenue generation thanks to the launch of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. WoW took in a whopping $161M in August, a number that does not include pre-orders in the months prior to August. According to the research company, WoW’s subscriber numbers are the highest since 2014.
