Mavericks Players to be Invited to The Forge to Test Key Game Components
The Mavericks site has been updated with a notice to let the community know about The Forge, an upcoming “first version of an ever-evolving game”.The Forge will launch on November 29th to a limited number of players. If invited, players will be able to help developers test “key areas of design and shaping the future of the game”. This is not beta testing and, in fact, sounds more like a closed alpha.
Dual Universe to Enter Alpha 1 On November 29th
Novaquark has sent word that the Dual Universe Alpha 1 event will kick off on November 29th. All Kickstarter backers will be granted access to Alpha 1 in the coming weeks. Players will be admitted to Alpha 1 in waves based on Kickstarter backer levels. Those who are already involved in testing will automatically be granted access to the alpha. Those backers who joined up after Kickstarter will also be granted access during the test’s initial weeks. In short, keep your eye on your email!
Twin Saga Update Launches with Five New Dungeons
Gamigo has announced that the latest Twin Saga update has launched that features five brand new dungeons, a new large-scale PvP battleground and a crossover “X-Legend MMO” event (Twin Saga, Aura Kingdom, Grand Fantasia). During the event, players can earn a new pet that originates from one of the different online worlds created by the development team.
Velik’s Sanctuary Launches for TERA’s Console Community
TERA console players on XBox One and PlayStation 4 who are looking for a challenge will be pleased to hear that En Masse Entertainment has launched the Velik’s Sanctuary dungeon into the game. Velik’s Sanctuary provides players with four challenging bosses including the god Lakan.

Kenshin’s and Shishio’s swords clash in this latest JUMP FORCE trailer
A few weeks back, Bandai Namco announced that Kenshin Himura and Shishio Makoto from Rurouni Kenshin were joining their upcoming crossover arena fighter JUMP FORCE. Now, they’re giving folks a chance to see them in action with a new trailer.
The trailer below gives us our first look at these two titans of the blade in-game. This includes seeing many of their trademark attacks, including Kenshin’s Kuzu Ryu Sen, and Ama Kakeru Ryu no Hirameki, as well as Shishio igniting his sword, Mugenjin.

Fortnite: Endless Growth
Fortnite numbers have continued to go up since the summer. That is coming from a report at Bloomberg the game tops out above the 200 million player mark. As a reference, the population of the United States clocks in around 325 million. These numbers are staggering, but it also heralds a new generation of gamers which are coming into their own. Street Fighter V servers down for maintenance today, adding Holiday and Resident Evil costumes
The holidays begin in SFV later today — after the usual server outage.
With new content comes the usual server maintenance for Street Fighter V — and so, online services will be unavailable today between 11:00 AM PT and 5:00 PM PT:

This update will add a big batch of costumes to the Shop, specifically the new Resident Evil Crossover Costumes for Urien, Cammy, and Kolin, and the 2018 Holiday costumes for Cody, Falke, Blanka, and Sakura.
