CCP Ices Its 6v6 Competitive Shooter Project Nova for the Time Being
According to a new post on the CCP site, the company has put the brakes on alpha testing for its competitive 6v6 shooter Project Nova. The game was first announced at EVE Vegas as the “spiritual successor to DUST 514”. Since then, the game has been through a “number of player research sessions with external partners, tirelessly playtested the game internally and brought community stalwarts in to help us evaluate the project”. Devs feel that PN does not live up to CCP’s vision at the moment.

A Nuclear Reminder: Beta Should Be For Testing
When I look at this year’s game snafus, most recently the growing pains that Fallout 76 is experiencing, I’m reminded of a simpler time when online games were young and the lure of using playtests as marketing tools was nearly non-existent. There was a time, as many of you probably remember when a beta test was actually a test and not a way to drive sales or generate hype for a game through the use of influencers.

According to John Kavanagh, Conor McGregor’s head coach at Straight Blast Gym in Ireland, he hasn’t seen his star pupil since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov last month at UFC 229, despite McGregor’s claims after the fight that he wanted an immediate rematch with “The Eagle” or barring that, an opponent that could get him back into title contention.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta and Broly (Super Saiyan Full Power) blast into Dragon Ball Xenvoerse 2 in Extra Pack 4
The strongest fighters from Dragon Ball Super: Broly have arrived
While the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly might be a couple months away, releasing on January 16, 2019, in the U.S., Bandai Namco Entertainment is already announcing new DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to hype up the upcoming film.
While the title character, Broly, is no surprise, Gogeta, who has until this moment remained a non-canon fusion of heroes Goku and Vegeta, is now recreated with new moves, an even cooler sense of confidence, and a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS or Super Saiyan Blue) transformation.
While potentially spoiling some of the fun for fans wanting to wait until the film releases, Bandai Namco Entertainment already shared a new trailer for the film showcasing the canon iteration of Gogeta to promote the new Broly being added to the mobile fighter, Dragon Ball Legends.
Players can catch a five-second teaser for the new character below, shared by Dragon Ball personality, Rhymestyle. While five seconds is certainly brief, even when compared to the seemingly short 30-second trailers for Dragon Ball FighterZ, the teaser captures the essence of the new blue Gogeta and his original techniques. Gogeta’s fast blue energy blasts remind me of Broly’s own Blaster Shell technique with his own spin.

Not to be overpowered by the azure fusion fighter, Broly (Super Saiyan Full Power), not to be confused with the community named mastered state from Dragon Ball Z of the same name, is also heading to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as part of the Extra Pack 4 DLC set.
If Broly wasn’t already intimidating enough, this new iteration of the character is power incarnate. With new duds and his familiar green glow, Broly is bound to be a worthy opponent (or partner) in any Xenoverse mission.
Broly (Super Saiyan Full Power) is coming to #dragonballxenoverse 2 ahead of the launch of Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie!
Featured as part of Extra Pack 4 coming this winter, Broly fights with a pure Battle instinct that even exceeds that of Goku.

There’s always a ton to look forward to with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in terms of both paid and free content and Extra Pack 4 will be no different. On top of receiving the two powerhouse fighters, players who purchase Extra Pack 4 will also obtain the Tournament of Power Arena from the last arc of the Dragon Ball Super anime as a playable stage.
While not explicitly stated, one can assume, as it has been done with all DLC packs for the title, players will also have the ability to learn Gogeta and Broly’s new moves through additional parallel quests that add even more wacky time traveling stories to the title. I’m hoping for a classic Broly vs. New Broly showdown alongside a Vegito Blue vs. Gogeta Blue smackdown, what about you?
Never to be left without a gift for the holiday, all players regardless of whether they purchase Extra Pack 4 or not will gain access to the Santa outfit and Broly’s wig for their custom characters. There’s bound to be more free content as well so keep your senses heightened.
Super Saiyan Broly & the Tournament of Power Arena will be in Extra Pack 4! And as part of a separate free update players will receive a Santa outfit + Broly's wig!

Expect more information and a full-length trailer showcasing both of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly characters and the rest of the additional content coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 through Extra Pack 4 and the free update to be released in the near future.
Those who can’t wait to add more content to Xenoverse 2 can download even more music from the anime through the recently released Anime Music Pack 2, which is also downloadable for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Stumblebee chronicles the history of Street Fighter V’s origin and improvements in “From Chump to Champ”
Street Fighter V has often been the most divisive numbered title in the franchise’s 30-year history. While many new players love the title, many veterans to the series can’t help but look at it with disdain compared to older titles.
With all of that aside, Stumblebee discussed the massive divergence from older titles in this video chronicling the history of Street Fighter V. He also goes into great detail on the initial sparseness of content, the gameplay and input lag issues — and also shows how Capcom has taken steps to right the course of their most important Street Fighter title yet.
