Crowfall – The Talent System Revealed

Crowfall keeps on building towards what will undeniably be one of the most unique MMORPGs in recent memory. Everything the team at ArtCraft seems to do is just a little or a lot different from the norm. And the same goes for how the team approaches their talent system for player characters. We caught up with J. Todd Coleman and Thomas Blair to discuss the newly revealed feature. Plus we have an exclusive look at the video reveal of the system.

It’s High Noon, Pardner, Thanks to Fortnite’s 6.30 Content Update

For those of you lookin’ for rootin’ tootin’ wild west action, look no further than the v6.30 content update that’s been deployed to Fortnite Battle Royale. The Wild West has arrived, a town that “ain’t big enough for the hundred of us”. This Limited Time Mode also features some iconic Ol’ West weapons including the double barrel shotgun, the pump shotgun, the six shooter, the ever-explosive Dynamite and more.

Aion Daeva’s Tavern Explores the Philosophy Behind 6.0

Aion’s “Awakened Legacy” was recently deployed for both North American and European players. The update essentially reimagines the game to bring “a refreshing and simplified experience for Daevas old and young, promising to create a streamlined and more enjoyable experience” for players. Gameforge has pushed out a new interview with the Korean dev team that covers their philosophy with 6.x and for the future of Aion.

What game do you love that everyone seems to hate?

As I watch reviews, both player and press, roll in for Fallout 76 I get a distinct sense of d�j� vu. I loved Auto Assault. I think I’m not alone there, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at press and player reception to Netdevil’s ill-fated car-driving MMORPG from the early 2000s.

Path of Exile Team Expands on Unified Hideouts Coming with Betrayal

When the Betrayal content expansion launches in Path of Exile in December, it’s coming with a new “unified hideout” system that has a lot of players excited. In the intervening week since Betrayal was announced, players have asked a lot of questions about the new feature and GGG devs have taken the time to answer over a dozen covering a wide array of topics.

Anthem Executive Producer Reiterates February Release

Anthem Lead Producer Mark Darrah has taken to Twitter to remind folks that the game will be out in February 2019 “same as always”. Darrah was responding to a Twitter user who asked if the game would be released in March. However, Reddit user “RuthenticCookie” has posted a rumor that Anthem may be delayed to launch with Sony’s unannounced PlayStation 5 and that “Anthem is a mess on ‘this-gen consoles'”. RuthenticCookie is the same person who leaked that Sony would not be at E3 2019 a day early.
