Mikado Arcade’s Street Fighter Carnival 12 begins with World Heroes 2, Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix 2, and Fighting Layer tournaments

2018 may almost be over, but some of the hottest arcade action is just starting up over in Japan! World-famous Mikado Arcade has just started Street Fighter Carnival 12, a multi-game tournament series designed to promote high-level gameplay in a wide variety of legacy FGC titles.

Opening up the festivities are World Heroes 2, Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix 2 (a personal favorite!), and the original Fighting Layer.

You can follow the action of SFC12 by subscribing to Mikado’s official YouTube channel. For the night owls in the US, you can even try to catch them when they livestream.

VesperArcade discusses changes that could help Urien kill, crush, and destroy in Season 4 of Street Fighter V

Urien has been a hot source of contention within the Capcom offices in regards to changes. His changes in Season 2 were almost nearly reverted in the subsequent patch for the season, after having realized it made him too strong. This was likely the effect of Urien being the last addition to the roster of Season 1, and few people unearthing his potential at that time.

He has fared slightly better in Season 3, but still has issues that cause him not to be a high-echelon character. VesperArcade discusses some tweaks — including a faster walk speed and better tick throw options — that could put him on that pedestal going forward.

rooflemonger visually breaks down the patch notes of Dragon Ball FighterZ in these videos

With a new patch comes a new layer of meta and play changes for Dragon Ball FighterZ. While there was a rough outline of how the patch would change the game, there were a few unknowns and some ambiguous verbiage within the notes themselves. This caused rooflemonger to create a pre-patch analysis video of what he viewed the changes to be.

Since the patch, he has begun checking the accuracy of his previous video. He saw many things proved to be correct, including the loss of the ability to create mixups off of Bardock and Android 16’s Level 3s. But also, he saw amazing new stuff: such as amazing buffs to Beerus that brings him into a higher realm of existence, Broly being able to connect 2H on smaller characters, and Goku Blue having a true tick command throw from any normal.
