The Anvil of Winterstith Raid to Open This Week in Lord of the Rings Online
The Lord of the Rings Online site has been updated with the latest patch notes. Update 23.2 will be deployed tomorrow, January 9th, and will bring a new raid into the game called The Anvil of Winterstith. The raid will not, however, open until January 10th. During the encounter, players will be able to take part in Tier 1 and Tier 2 and working to keep the Weeping Warrior “from adding the massive Frost-horde to his host”.

World of Warcraft 8.1.5 – Zandalari, Kul Tirans & Wintergrasp Making a Comeback
World of Warcraft’s Public Test Realm has been updated for players to try out patch 8.1.5 that contains some fantastic new additions to Battle for Azeroth. Of particular note is the arrival (FINALLY) of the Zandalari and Kul Tiran Allied Races. In unexpected news, developers have announced that Wintergrasp will be joining the Epic Battleground Queue — a player favorite from Wrath of Lich King.
Ana’s Bastet Challenge Limited Time Event Begins Today in Overwatch
Overwatch has been updated with a new limited time event called Ana’s Bastet Challenge that is based on her recently released short story. During the event, players can win special rewards in addition to the normal reward boxes. The event runs from today through January 21st and offers players a chance at five sprays, a player icon, a victory pose and the epic Bastet Ana skin.
Star Trek Online High-Level Captains Can Now Unlock Account-wide Progression
The Star Trek Online team has laid out the brand new details about the new Personal Endeavors system, essentially an account-wide progression system for captains of level 60+. Each day, captains will be given a trio of “Personal Endeavors” (easy, medium, hard) “that are shared account-wide and unique to every account” and are an addition to the “Universal Endeavors” (formerly server endeavors). These endeavors will “unlock account-wide stat increases”.
