Another year, another list of the games we hope don’t suck in 2019. MMOs have been waiting what seems forever to get something new, and this year there is no shortage of upcoming games to look forward to. The question is – will any of them actually release in 2019, or will it be another year of waiting for the next big thing?
During a South Korean media event with the Blade & Soul team, it came to light that a new class is in the works. According to MMOCulture, the class will be a ranged damage dealer that will provide a challenging level of gameplay for longtime players. Those choosing the class will have additional manual control elements to use and will need to utilize angles and distance to maximize damage. There is no release window for the Korean version, let alone the NA version.
The Bethesda blog has been updated with a very brief note to wish the Fallout 76 community a happy new year. Devs report that a “big update that will address many of the issues you’ve been providing feedback on” is coming soon and that patch notes will be published in the near future. In addition, the team promises a number of big features will be coming to FO76 throughout 2019.
Over the holidays, Anthem and EA released some new information about the upcoming demos for the game. There will be two demos made available, one for “VIPs” who preorder the game or who are EA/Origin Access members and a second free demo that anyone can play. The VIP demo will be available from January 25th to January 27th and those who take part will earn an exclusive item after Anthem launches. The open demo will be available from February 1st to February 3rd.
