Parallel Space Inc. has announced that its mobile free-to-play space MMO, Hades’ Star, has made the jump to Steam for both PC and Mac. Players will be able to play Hades’ Star using a single account regardless of the platform onto which they log. “Hades’ Star is a space strategy game where thousands of players participate in one shared galaxy.” The goal is to create a space empire while inhabiting a persistent galaxy. Players can take part in both PvE & PvP activities.

Nintendo Announces Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield for Switch
Fans of Pokemon rejoice! Nintendo has announced a pair of new games coming to Switch in Fall 2019. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will bring Generation 8 Pokemon to the world. Taking place in the heretofore unseen region of Galar, players will encounter Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble, to name a few of the new generation.
First Closed Alpha for Population Zero Planned for March 2nd
On March 2nd, Population Zero backers at the Commander and Sentinel levels will be able to take part in the first closed alpha event. Servers will be open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Pacific and again from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Pacific with a number of new features being part of the client. Folks who are not backers but would still like a chance to be elected for testing opportunities can do so by visiting the Population Zero site.

During the coldest times of the year, we of the artic regions tend to roll a huge snowball in front of our ice shanties, grab a big ole slab of moose shank, hunker down next to the heat coming off our PC’s and game away. This season I was able to dabble in Fortnite, spoil myself with the bliss that is the Nintendo Switch and finish up with the new American Classic, Red Dead Redemption 2. Looking at the calendar and seeing a solid four more months of winter left I have to ask myself, what’s next?

First Mobile MMO Based on the Cabal IP Announced
MMOCulture.com is reporting that ESTgames has officially announced Cabal Mobile, the first mobile game based on the long-running PC IP. Closed beta testing will take place in Korea from March 13th to March 17th. Players can look forward to “original systems”, dungeons, combo-oriented combat and “new convenience features for the mobile environment”.
