Fractured Team Reviews 2018 & Offers a Brief Statement About SpatialOS

The Fractured site has been updated with a look back at all the team accomplished in 2018. The list is a long one that includes bits about the game map, texture improvements, graphical upgrades, as well as a number of newly added components including biomes, creatures, housing, land claims, building, characters and much more. The letter ends up with a brief discussion of the kerfuffle between Improbable and Unity that ultimately ended up being “much ado about nothing”.

The Division 2: 20 Minutes of Co-op Mission Gameplay

This week, players will finally get a chance to check out The Division 2 with the start of the first beta opportunity on February 7th. IGN managed to get hands on with the game to showcase an entire 20-minute PvE mission. While the mission won’t be present in the beta, it’s a chance to see the game in action from a variety of perspectives.

Marshmello’s Concert in Fortnite Drew in 10 MILLION Concurrent Players

Epic has once again proved that Fortnite is a phenomenon unlike anything ever seen before. Last week, Epic hosted an in-game concert with Marshmello with over ten million concurrent players participating. At the appointed hour, all Fortnite players were sent to the concert venue in-game where they were treated to a 10-minute Marshmello set and even live audio. In addition, players were tossed into low gravity or found they could fly through the air around the stage.

The video features frantic PvE and PvP battles, huge monsters, and showcases a number of the game’s features. Mad World MMO is a 2D isometric game utilizing HTML5 and a hand-drawn art style. The premise is a post-apocalyptic world where humans are struggling to survive and “battle on the edge of extinction”. Mad World MMO is planning for a 2019 release for PC, browsers & mobile devices.
