Elder Scrolls Online Players to Receive 3 Race Change Tokens Ahead of Racial Balance

Ahead of the upcoming reworking of Racials in Elder Scrolls Online, the team has heard player feedback about “the total number of high level characters from ESO accounts” and will be awarding every player three race change tokens and three name change tokens. These will be automatically added to player accounts ahead of Update 21 when the changes to racials go into effect. We think that’s a pretty classy move altogether.

Legends of Aria’s Dungeon Expansion is Live

Legends of Aria has been updated to bring the Dungeon Expansion to live servers. “Wilderness dungeons finally got the love that they deserve,” it says in the announcement blog. In addition, PvEers will have a new tool “that will help them avoid unscrupulous ganks”. It’s a spell called Ward Evil that is only visible to the caster. When an “outcast enemy” enters the circumference, the caster is notified. The goal is to encourage players to venture outside ‘safe zones” to explore the new dungeons.

Guild Wars 2: Jack of All Trades

As I’ve adventured in Tyria, made some alts, and fiddled with some builds I’ve come to realize there is really no wrong way to play Guild Wars 2. I know that is a loaded statement and let me clarify. Casual play is the best way for me to approach Guild Wars. I login, do a couple of quests and zones, do some crafting and logout. No pressure at all. Meet some great people, and genuinely enjoy myself. Not something I can say about MMORPGs lately.
