EverQuest Players to Explore the New Gnome Memorial Mountain Zone Starting March 16th
On March 16th, EverQuest players will be able to take part in “Preserving the Past” content in honor of the game’s 20th anniversary. During the special event, players will explore Gnome Memorial Mountain, a new zone “full of quests, collections and raids for players level 95+”. The domed habitat has crested the top of the sea and, according to the blog, gnomes are hard at work ferrying everyone to this “new unexplored domain”.

MapleStory 2 Economy Changes Tentatively Targeting March 28th
If all goes according to plan, the March 28th update to MapleStory 2 will include some big changes to the in-game economy, particularly with regard to the Meso Market. “Our focus was to create a place where low-level players can gain some extra mesos for progression, as well as a place where well-equipped players can get Merets for cosmetic purposes”. The goal was not to cause harm to in-game balance or give a whiff of “pay to win”.
Blade & Soul: Legacy of the Hongmoon Clan Events Include a Battle Royale Mode
From March 13th to April 10th, Blade & Soul players will be able to take part in a number of events in celebration of Legacy of the Hongmoon Clan. Players can take part in hourly battles that will pit 20-combatants against one another in a “battle royale-styled PvP event” that will be a fight to be the last one standing. The fight will feature boosts that can be found for the duration of the battle, as well as monsters that will be on the prowl for unwary fighters.
Gamigo is Shutting Rift Prime Down on March 31st
The Rift site has been updated with a note from the Gamigo team to announce to the community that Rift Prime will be closing down on March 31st. No explanation is given for the closure. You may remember that Rift Prime is, or was, a progression server that started with “vanilla” and would gradually unlock content over time. Character transfers will be completed by April 7th.
