It’s official! The first Anarchy Online progression server is now live. Called Rubi-Ka 2019 (or simply RK2019), the server was switched on today. The handy FAQ provides a few nuggets of information including the fact that RK2019 is Funcom’s “unique take on a fresh-start experience. Subscribers are invited to start anew with a pure experience – no expansions, lower level caps, and an untouched economy to begin!”
For those who were playing Wizard101 at the time, 2015 was a pretty cool year. Jewel socketing made its introduction, sought-after gear could be found in ultra dungeons, and the players welcomed the beginning of the third arc with open arms. However, the beginning of frequent in-game contests/tournaments is something that, in my opinion, disappeared all too quickly.
Red Dead Online has been updated to bring the Evans Repeater — an oldie but a goodie from Red Dead Redemption — and the new Fool’s Gold free roam event into the game. Players taking part in Fool’s Gold will get to fight it out to see who gets to wear the stylish gold lam� armor. Those who take down the strutting cowpoke will get to strip it from the corpse and strap it on for their own trip down the runway.
Bioware teased their game Anthem a while back to a knowing and jaded game industry. At E3 2017 the game was shown off as part of EA’s new line up. People were excited but calls of Destiny suddenly were heard and here we are in early 2019 as the title is already starting to feel the pinch.

A new feature somewhat similar to “try before you buy” has entered Black Desert Online. Players can have up to three Trial Characters on their account that offers a high-level experience in Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, Arena of Arsha and Savage Rift. These Trial Characters come with 4,000 Skill Points and a special Battle Arena NPC offers a variety of gear for a single silver each.
On March 20th, Albion Online will be patched with the Oberon update, the sixth major content update since the game launched. Oberon comes packed with new features including hidden entrances, randomized dungeons, new mobs and creatures, shrines, chests, and dungeon maps. Devs have also retooled the in-game tutorials to provide additional information to players. Mobs will begin dropping runes, souls and relics and the weapon unlock progression system has been streamlined.
Mangasoft has announced that a new global version of DK Online is now available. The game features “five races and classes” set in the empire of Redisse. Players are able to participate in large-scale guild vs guild sieges and more. To assist players, a new global website has been launched to provide information about the game. Lastly, Masangsoft has made a number of improvements to DKO including a robust balance pass and more.
