Thanos and the Chitauri are back in Fortnite Battle Royale with the arrival of the v8.50 update and in celebration of this weekend’s release of the blockbuster film. The limited time mode sends a team of “Hero” players off to stop Team Thanos from taking the Infinity Stones. Heroes will be searching for Mythic Avengers items during the fight with the ultimate goal of destroying the Chitauri and defeating Thanos himself.
The Crew 2 Free Weekend Incoming Including the New Hot Shots Update
Starting today, The Crew 2 is available for a free weekend through April 28th. Players will have full access to the game, including the new content added in the Hot Shots update. Players who try out the game and decide to purchase it can do so with a sweet 70% off the normal price for the base game and 50% off the Season Pass. Any progress attained during the free weekend will be kept if the game is purchased.
Crossout Players Can Rumble Through a New Story Campaign
Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have announced the addition of a new story campaign in Crossout. Adventure Mode will see players exploring the Contagion storyline as they explore a large new open world map. The map is filled with new missions and quests for cooperative groups of players or for those preferring solo play. Players will be pitted “against a mysterious, mind-twisting machine capable of turning friends into enemies”. There are plans to add to the story over time.

Ukyo is incredibly precise with his attacks and he moves so quickly it appears that he’s standing still! The character also utilizes pyrotechnics and evasive techniques to make his tool kit even more devastating. You can catch the character’s full trailer below!
Samurai Shodown releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 27th, with PC and Nintendo Switch versions to follow sometime afterward. Don’t forget to register to compete in the upcoming title at Evo 2019!

Blizzard Introduces the New Overwatch Workshop
Blizzard Vice President Jeff Kaplan took to the airwaves earlier today to introduce Overwatch Workshop that is already live on the OW PTR. Players will be able to “craft your marvelous creations!” It is a scripting mode that allows players to make custom game modes within the custom games browser and to prototype custom Overwatch heroes with the system. This feature will be available for PC and console. Kaplan said it is important to note that this is NOT a map editor.

Dive Into the MapleStory 14th Anniversary Event Starting Today
Starting today, Maplers can take part in the MapleStory 14th Anniversary Event. Players will be able to play through a number of fun activities, earn some special items and find the return of the Pink Bean character creation. “From April 24th to June 12th, events named after past major seasonal updates such as Chaos, Nova, Ark, and more will be available under the 14th Street event.”
