Legend of Pirates Online Updated with Quest Reward Vendors, Unique Pirate Portraits & More

If you ever played Pirates of the Caribbean Online, you may not be aware that the game still lives as Legend of Pirates Online. While the game is not licensed by Disney, it is a faithful recreation of PotCO and receives regular updates and has for the past two years or so. In fact, the latest update was deployed earlier today and brings a number of new features into the game including a new Quest Reward vendor that can replace lost items that may have been lost, sold or deleted.

Atlas Reactor Closing Down on June 28th

The Atlas Reactor team has announced that the game will be closing for good on June 28, 2019. As of today, all purchasing has ended and new “ways to acquire products that were previously for real money purchase”. XP, Flux and ISO rates have also been turned up “dramatically”. Servers will remain online through June 28th and anyone who logged in on or after January 1, 2018 will receive a “small parting gift” at the registered email address.

Entropia Universe Players Can Drop in for Easter Mayhem 2019 Fun

It’s Easter in Entropia Universe and players are being invited to check in to the annual Easter Mayhem event. This year, there are renewed robot attacks as players set off to defend the data interceptor.Players “assist the Calypso Defense Force to fight back against the waves of Evicerators, Spider Bombers, Defenders, Warlocks and Warrior robots to protect the Data Interceptors during the extraction process.”

Torchlight Frontiers: Railmaster Class Reveal Trailer

The Torchlight Frontiers team has revealed a new class coming to the game, this time, the Railmaster aka “The Conductor of Pain”. The Railmaster has a canine companion carries a number of packs about its person while the Railmaster himself is literally followed by a train!

FYI: Assassin’s Creed Unity is Free on Uplay in Solidarity with Those Affected by the Burning of Notre Dame

From the FYI Files: Ubisoft has announced that it is donating 500,000 Euros to help rebuild the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris that was destroyed earlier this week in a catastrophic fire. In addition, the company has announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity is free to all takers for the next week “in solidarity with everyone moved by Monday’s events”. Assassin’s Creed Unity is set in Paris and has a faithful reconstruction of Notre Dame and the city itself.
