Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis Explores Greek Notions of the Afterlife

Ubisoft has sent out the first trailer for the second story arc DLC coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The Fate of Atlantis is a DLC that will come out in three separate chapters that features completely new locations. The first chapter is called Fields of Elysium will launch on April 23rd. Players will be able to get hold of new weapons and leverage the Ability Enhancement system. Players can change how existing skills behave.

Sea of Thieves: The Hunter’s Call Preview & Trailer

The Sea of Thieves team was on hand during a live stream event this week to show off and preview the upcoming Anniversary event. Devs show content coming from The Hunter’s Call, part of the Arena. The Arena brings 24-minute matches for those who want unbridled battle royale action. Tall Tales, also part of the anniversary event, will bring new story-based quests and includes Shores of Gold where players “experience a story of love, honor and betrayal”.

Take to the Skies with the Fortnite Battle Royale LTM ‘Air Royale’

Fortnite Battle Royale players will take to the skies now that today’s update is complete. In the Air Royale Limited Time Mode, players will be able to “pilot the X-4 Stormwing” and will be dog fighting their way through the war-torn skies to be the last plane flying. In addition, players can complete “free Challenges to unlock brand new Wraps as you rule the skies”.

Lineage 2 is Turning 15 and the Party Starts Today!

Starting today, Lineage 2 players will be able to join in the epic celebration of the game’s 15th anniversary. During the celebration that will last for the next few weeks, players will be able to take part in a number of events including a sweepstakes for L2 items, a global 100% Adena and Drop boost event, an Anniversary Day Buff on April 28th and a May preview of what’s coming to Lineage 2 and Lineage 2 Classic.

EA Patches a Major Security Flaw in Origin Game Launcher

Earlier this week, analysts at Underdog Security discovered a vulnerability in EA’s Origin game launcher that can allow hackers an opportunity to remotely run a malicious code on a user’s system. This flaw affects the PC version of Origin and, according to TechCrunch, Origin uses its own URL system for players to open the app by “clicking a link with origin:// in the address” line. However, the exploit “tricked” Origin into running any app on the user’s PC, giving them free access to everything.
