After Weeks of Silence from the Devs, Anthem Gets a Surprise Update

Anthem devs have been largely silent for the last several weeks, but it seems they are still working on the game as evidenced by today’s surprise update. Most notably, today’s patch brings three Emerald Abyss Legendary Missions on board alongside a number of tweaks to creatures, Javelins and strongholds as well as a number of bug fixes.

Dauntless Review – A Crossplay Gem

Dauntless has finally released May 21, 2019, and we got a chance to get our hands on it. After being in open beta since May 2018. Dauntless now joins the very few games that can cross-play across many consoles most notably PS4 and Xbox. With over 5 million players, it is fine to call Dauntless a success. With that said, let us talk about our time slaying these behemoths. This is our Dauntless review.

Reworked Mediah Quest Line Enters Black Desert Online

The Mediah quest line in Black Desert Online has been reworked to improve the quality of the story with most quests being rewritten from the ground up. The updated quests provide players with alternative viewpoints on the history and relationships in the game. Throughout the quests, players will “experience the consequences of pivotal moments in Mediah’s history” and will choose between two factions.

With Shadowbringers’ launch looming ever closer, Square Enix has pulled out all the stops with its press viewings of the game. I was one of the lucky few invited out to be one of the first to play the expansion. To say I wasn’t overwhelmed would be a lie, the shear amount of content available was substantial. A lot of changes are coming, and I won’t be covering them all.

Worlds Adrift Closing in July – Devs Cite Lack of Commercial Viability

Bossa has announced that Worlds Adrift will be closing down in July. While proud of what was achieved, developers cite a lack of commercial viability due to not reaching “the level of popularity it needs to continue”. The letter further states that too much development time was spent “making the game work rather than making it the experience we wanted it to be”.
