For anyone looking for to join the Street Fighting action on PC, now’s a great time to pick up Street Fighter V: Capcom’s latest addition to the Street Fighter franchise is currently discounted as part of Green Man Gaming’s summer sale.

Both Street Fighter V and its Season Pass have received a 10% discount. The former can be purchased for only $53.99 while the latter for only $26.99.

In addition to these, both the stand alone and digital upgrade versions of SFV’s predecessor Ultra Street Fighter IV are also on sale. You can buy USFIV can buy for only $6.79, 77% off the original retail price. Those who haven’t upgraded from Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition can do so for only $4.94, 67% off the original price.

For any players looking for some old school Guilty Gear action on PC, here’s some great news for you: both Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka are currently on sale in The Humble Store.

The first update to the Guilty Gear X2 series, #Reload is the first time Robo-Ky had his own moveset. Interested players can purchase it for only $1.49 USD.

Guilty Gear Isuka, on the other hand, is more of an experiment at allowing 4-player battles in the series. While not as highly regarded as other entries, it’s still a worthy addition to any fan’s collection–especially since it’s also going for only $1.49 USD.

Players considering grabbing either of these titles should head on over to the Humble Store, but take note that this is a limited-time sale that ends in a couple of days.

Before we had an official Team China in the King of Fighters XIV, the series had another team representing the peoples republic. The Psycho Soldier Team was the first King of Fighters team to raise the red banner and they are the focus of this weeks team trailer.

Joining Athena Asamiya and Chin Gentsai once again is the plucky Sie Kensou. Kensou has had some issue with his psychic powers throughout the series’ history so it’s nice to see that he seems to have them back in full force for this outing.

Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is getting an interesting new mode later this Fall.  This new “Digital Figure Mode” revolves around allowing players to pick up a series of digital statues of the games characters.

Players will be able to collect digital statues and then customize their figures poses, colors, and even backgrounds and place multiple characters together to create unique dioramas in game.

This new mode should appeal to both creative types who can express themselves with the dioramas as well as players who enjoy in game collectibles. As for how these digital figures will be unlocked, nothing as of yet has been detailed. However they’ll most likely come from playing the games multiple modes.

In the meantime, here’s the modes announcement from an abridged version of the trailer shown at Evo 2016.

If there’s one stage that stands out as unique in Street Fighter V, it’s the Bustling Side Street stage. This is because it’s the only stage with a transition and unique finishes, so far.

However, it seems that that may not be the case moving forward. X-Kira, the same modder behind the free roaming camera mod for Street Fighter V, has discovered other stage transitions and finishes hidden in the game as of the version 1.04a update.

These transitions and finishes are for the Lair of the Four Kings, Hillside Plaza, Apprentice Alley, Kanzuki Estate, Union Station, City In Chaos, Forgotten Waterfall, Underground Arena, and Shadaloo Base. Sadly we’re unable to see exactly how these transitions and finishes look like in game – it seems that there’s currently no way to make them trigger in their actual stages at the moment. Instead, X-Kira has modded the game so that they trigger in the Bustling Side Street Stage.

The video below shows these transitions and finishes running on said Bustling Side Street stage. This means that we don’t really get to see the finer details involved in them. However, some knowledge of the stages does allow us to guess what happens, such as what seems to be the downed character being tossed in the air by an elephant in the Apprentice Alley stage.

One of the West Coasts biggest tournaments will be returning in the Fall. SoCal Regionals, presented by Level|Up will return on October 14 to 16 at the Esports Arena in Orange County, CA.

This installment of SCR will feature multiple games including Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Mortal Kombat XL, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. 4, Super Smash Bros. Melee, the King of Fighters XIV, and of course Street Fighter V.

As a Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event, the winner of the Street Fighter V tournament will qualify for Capcom Cup 2016 and take a large part of the $15,000 prize pool bonus from Capcom. In addition to this, the Tekken 7 tournament will also be part of Bandai Namco’s Tekken Tour and will receive a $3,000 prize pool bonus.

For those interested in flying in to the event, Level|Up has partnered with the Holiday Inn Santa Ana which will serve as the official hotel for the event. The hotel is offering a group rate of $114 per night for competitors. Additionally, there will be a $5 shuttle service from the hotel to the venue and back.
