Profane, the indie MMORPG in development by studio Insane, has released a new roadmap detailing work to be done in 2022 on the sandbox MMORPG. The roadmap shows quite a bit of work on the horizon, however the team is using progress bars on the map to show, well, their progress.
This year’s D.I.C.E. Awards is coming up at the end of February in Las Vegas, and while the MMORPG category isn’t super represented one game is up for two of the major awards this year: Final Fantasy 14.
World of Warcraft is getting a bevy of changes coming to Burning Crusade Classic in Phase 3, though that’s not the only thing Blizzard is working towards this year. The publisher is prepping this year’s round of esports events, celebrating 15 years with a $1.8 Million prize pool.

Matt Firor, Game Director for The Elder Scrolls Online, took to the ESO forums today to address player concerns over PvP and the dearth of updates on fixing the game mode’s issues. This is seemingly in response to a statement made on a stream by Creative Director Rich Lambert’s wife, Terri, response to concerns about PvP’s issues.
Zenith: The Last City is set to launch on January 27th across all major VR platforms, Ramen VR stated today in a press release. This, however, does have the caveat with the titles pending their final QA verification, however. To start to prep for the release later this month, the VR MMORPG is hosting its next closed beta test starting tomorrow, January 13th.
