Weatherstock XIII took place over the weekend (We even streamed a little bit of it!) and one aspect Bradford could not shake was just how cool the Lord of the Rings Online community has been over the course of the game’s life.
EVE Online’s latest event centers around The Grand Heist, seeing players fight over large ESS reserve banks holding trillions of ISK for hungry players to loot. Players can take part in the heist right now on the test server, with the event coming to Tranquility late July.
Ship of Heroes’ upcoming beta is slated to begin on August 7th, and the team behind the MMO is giving a glimpse into what players can expect from the three-week long event.
Swords of Legends Online launched back on July 9th, and the team has been hard at work getting their first post launch content drop, including a new raid as well as the upcoming summer festival.

During today’s TennoCon, Digital Extremes announced quite a few new initiatives for their looter shooter, Warframe. The New War, the upcoming story-driven expansion to the online shooter, will be releasing later this year, and with the trailer players got a first look at the gameplay during today’s stream.

Weatherstock XIII, the annual player concert series hosted on the Landroval server, comes back to The Lord of the Rings Online tomorrow, July 17th. The concert will feature 20 different player-made bands performing at the top of Weathertop in the Lone Lands for all to hear.
Elyon, the MMORPG formerly known as Ascent: Infinite Realm, has launched a new homepage to give players the chance to sign up for the next round of beta testing ahead of its Western launch. Kakao and Bluehole Studio launched tne new site and confirmed that CBT2 test signups will begin here soon on July 26th through August 11th.
The MMO is dead. This is a mantra we hear constantly in the MMO-space, whether from community members thinking back to yesteryear or games media trying to find a unique angle to cover. However, Bradford argues that they aren’t dead, in fact far from it, especially if this week is any indication.
