With the release of the July War Table, I think I’ve finally crossed into highly anticipated territory with Marvel’s Avengers. The game looks well-polished at this point and the team’s willingness to show a good deal of gameplay (and allow players to play through a solid chunk of content in the beta) inspire confidence in me that Crystal Dynamics may have something solid on their hands.

Xbox Games Showcase Highlights
Yesterday, Microsoft gave us a look at some of the games coming to the Xbox Series X in a live streamed showcase event. I don’t particularly care about the Series X as someone who games on PC announcements are still relevant to me. Despite a lack of gameplay in some key reveals, the showcase generally impressed me. These are some of the highlights.
Star Wars: Squadrons Ships I’d Like to See
We already know the ships Star Wars: Squadrons will feature at launch and with no (current) plans for DLC the notion of getting any additional ships post-launch is really just a hope at this point. But that’s OK. Speculation is fun! If EA does ever decide to add more ships, these are some of the ships I’d like to see.
