Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda took to the Square Enix Holdings website with his New Year’s Letter, which covers a number of different topics that the company aims to focus on throughout 2022. While the vast majority of the letter revolved around the influence of blockchain games, NFT and the metaverse, Matsuda also spoke of Square Enix’ investment into artificial intelligence and cloud technologies and how they intend to leverage all emerging tech in the future.

Crowfall Founder Gives Insight into Sale in Latest Blog Post

Yesterday we reported that Crowfall has been purchased by independent game studio Monumental, which developed the game Mythgard. ArtCraft plans to move on to other projects, and it will no longer be associated with the development of Crowfall, but that didn’t stop the founder, J. Todd Coleman from giving a little bit of history on the project, and what lead to the sale to Monumental.

Last Epoch is Ready to Introduce Legendary Weapons and the First End Game Dungeon December 10th

On December 10th Last Epoch will introduce their latest update deemed the Eternal Legends Update. In Patch 0.8.4, players will be get the change to play the new endgame dungeon, the Temporal Sanctum, where upon completion, they will be able to create their first Legendary item. That isn’t all that’s headed to the game in the patch, as players will have new skills, character models, items and a revamped crafting system in addition to a whole host of other changes.
