Britain’s Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs) captured the IBF heavyweight title when he stopped previously unbeaten Charles Martin (23-1-1, 21 KOs) in the second round on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London.

Carl Frampton (22-0, 14 KOs) has been stripped of the WBA super bantamweight title.
The Northern Irishman won the WBA belt when he outpointed Scott Quigg, adding the strap to his IBF super bantamweight title, in an all British unification fight in February.

British middleweight Nick Blackwell woke from an induced coma on Saturday and a day later was talking with family and close friends at his bedside, promoter Hennessy Boxing announced on Monday.
Blackwell, who was making his third British title defence, collapsed following a 10th-round stoppage defeat to Chris Eubank Jr on March 26 at The SSE Arena, in London.
