Russia’s Alexander Povetkin (28-1, 20 KOs) defeated Carlos Takam (30-2-1, 23 KOs) by a 10th round stoppage on Friday night to capture the WBC Silver heavyweight title at the Luzhniki Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia.

WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs) scored his 18th consecutive knockout when stopping Marco Antonio Rubio (59-7-1, 51 KOs) on Saturday night at the StubHub Center, in Carson, California.

Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 KOs) has vacated his WBO super featherweight title.
The WBO has now made Orlando Salido (42-12-2, 29 KOs) the new champion.

Cornelius “K9″ Bundrage (34-5, 19 KOs) dethroned IBF light middleweight champion Carlos Molina (22-6-2, 6 KOs) by a 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Oasis Resort in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Lee Selby (20-1, 8 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over previously unbeaten Joel Brunker (27-1, 15 KOs) in an IBF featherweight eliminator on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Matthew Macklin (31-5, 20 KOs) will face Jorge Sebastian Heiland (24-4-2, 12 KOs) for the WBC International middleweight title in an official world title eliminator at The 3 Arena in Dublin on November 15.

James DeGale will fight Marco Antonio Periban on the undercard of Cleverly-Bellew II on November 22 in Liverpool.

Former undisputed middleweight champion Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor (33-4-1, 20 KOs) defeated IBF world middleweight titlist Sam “King” Soliman (44-12, 18 KOs) by a 12 round unanimous decision on Wednesday night at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.
