Everyone has a fighting chance
When Season of the Splicer went online last week, some players noticed cross-play also was turned on for Destiny 2. While this was a mistake according to Bungie, it looks like players didn’t have to wait long to officially check out the feature, as the dev team have announced it will be tested next week.
This week saw the launch of Destiny 2’s latest season, Season of the Splicer. While many were expecting the grind that comes with Destiny content, many didn’t expect another feature being turned on by Bungie on accident: cross play.
Destiny 2’s latest season, titled Season of the Splicer, is now live in Bungie’s looter MMOFPS. The season sees the return of the Vault of Glass raid as well as a new six-player seasonal activity.
It looks like Destiny 2 players will be waiting even longer to jump back into its Trials of Osiris mode as Bungie has disabled the mode indefinitely thanks to recent exploits being taken advantage of in the PvP mode.
What if you can double the size of your Fireteam in Destiny 2 to tackle some of the hardest content in the game? Well, the Destiny 2 community has done just that, uncovering a big that allows 12 Guardians to join in on Raids, Nightfdalls and Dungeons.
In a post on the Bungie blog, the developers of Destiny 2 made the announcement that the next expansion, Witch Queen, will be delayed into 2022. The team cites its ambitious narrative as well as Covid-19 complications as to why it will be delayed.
Bungie’s Community Manager responded to a Reddit post earlier today centered around Bungie Employees that play Destiny 2 Trials with famous streamers.

Destiny 2’s upcoming season 13, dubbed Season of the Chosen, is coming to the FPS this month, kicking off on February 9th and running through May 11th.
