Destiny players will be happy to hear that the next expansion to the game will be in players’ hands on September 15th. Bungie made the announcement today at E3 2015. Check out the brand new trailer to get excited!

Bungie has filed several trademarks that may be related to Destiny according to a new report at Gamespot: "One is for "Eververse&quot$$ another covers "Eververse Trading Co.&quot$$ and a third pertains to the "Eververse" logo".

Destiny has been a polarizing force in gaming since its launch last September. It came out to middling reviews and an incredibly vocal base of Bungie fans who expressed intense disappointment at the lack of the same kind of narrative drive they had come to love in the developer’s Halo series. Even still, people kept logging in and playing. According to Activision Blizzard, Destiny and Hearthstone combined had 50 million registered users as of March 31st this year.

Destiny players will want to check into the game today thanks to the arrival of the House of Wolves expansion that brings several new features and a host of new content into the game.

Bungie has sent out the official launch trailer for Destiny: House of Wolves. The expansion will bring a new zone, new content, adventures and more to the game when it launches on Tuesday, May 19th.

It’s been a contentious topic since the game’s announcement several years ago: why isn’t Destiny on PC as well as consoles? Well, there’s still the off chance that Destiny will make it to the PC, or at least that it will when the sequel comes out. The question is, would you play it?

Destiny will be growing with the House of Wolves expansion set to launch on May 19th and the devs want to give players a preview of things to come that includes new missions, quests, stories, bounties, the Reef social area, all of which is designed to expand the universe and tell the story of Destiny.

The Destiny team will be on hand to show some arena game play with devs and community members facing off in the Prison of the Elders map. The arena will be part of the House of Wolves expansion that is set to launch in the very near future.

The next Destiny live stream event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29th beginning at 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern. During the stream, devs will be on hand to show off the new weekly competitive PvP mode, Trials of Osiris.

Destiny players will want to tune into the official Twitch.tv channel on Wednesday, April 22nd for a special live stream event to check out the House of Wolves expansion set for release in May. Viewers will get a firsthand look at The Reef, a new social area of Destiny.
